Breaking for the Border.

We’ve made it to the sprawling metropolis of Mexico City. Its home to 18 million, and it already feels like home to us. Good promoters can be the key to an expedition like this. Within the first hours of our landing we were sat around some plates of the finest enchiladas talking about the Chinese influence on Mayan culture and speculating on the audacity of the 2012 apocalypse. Did you know the Chinese got here before the Spanish? You do now. We need promoters who can answer these questions for us. We need to know when the Spanish came to Mexico and why they didn’t go up into north America, we want dates and months with our beers and starters, as well as a break down of the 80 different ingredients that make up Mole (a kind of funky brown sauce) Are we asking too much? I think not, all our questions have been answered and it’s good to be getting an education, it staves off the guilt of having that first drink a little earlier each day.
