Someone Purer
In a little under a months’ time we will be setting out on our first UK tour in a year and a half – It only seems like the other day that the Serotonin shows came to an emotional end at the Roundhouse back in November 2010. This show is going to be very different though as you will see at Brixton and indeed at the fanclub shows leading up to the big night. It will be the most intimate set of gigs we have played in a long, long time and we are so excited. Having spent a lot of last year out in Texas recording the songs that have ended becoming ‘Radlands’ (artwork above), it felt exciting to us to come back home and reacquaint ourselves with our fans face to face. And the kinds of bars that we would go out to watch bands in Austin at felt like the kind of places this record needed to be premiered at too. Dive bars and clubs where we can play right in front of you and bring you the stories and sounds of the record as we intended them to be heard. Also hang around after we play as ‘Radio Radlands’ will be playing the songs which inspired those on our record.
So, for an intimate evening of song and dance, come and join us in March and April at the following drinking holes.
