So the time has come. Radlands is no longer just the name of our creaky old wooden house back in Austin, but the name of a record which is out in the world. Its been an intense two weeks for us playing hugely memorable shows in Istanbul, at New Slang Kingston, The Great Escape down in Brighton, and a couple of Guinness fuelled ones over the weekend in Ireland. We also spent two nights in theme parks in Wales shooting a video, which you will be seeing very soon too. But as for now, we are putting the final touches together in preparation for our largest headline show to date, this Friday the 18th of May. Brixton Academy is the show we have been waiting to play since we started out throwing free parties in a boat shed for our friends on Eel Pie Island way back in 2004. As a band of London boys, the feeling of walking from the wings out onto that stage will be one of euphoria and we will do everything in us to make sure you feel the way we feel. Those of you with tickets will hear the new songs as well as some you wont have heard in some time, and get to see the new band – Mystery jets MK III on full fighting form. This is the new show, and there will be surprises….
If you don’t have a ticket yet, this is your last chance to get hold of them before they go. You can catch the last few HERE.
Dig out your 501s, coat your throats and get your tassels on. Lets make this one to remember.
