I would like to take this opportunity to say the most heartfelt Thank You from myself and the boys to all who attended Brixton on Friday, whilst the high of playing to you all is still lasting. From the opening chords of Someone Purer till the silver confetti came down in Flakes, we have never felt more honoured to play before such an audience. The Astoria….Roundhouse….Somerset House and Glastonbury 09 were some of our favourite ever gigs, but this one somehow topped them all. For me, the show was a celebration of the very thing we have pursued since we first started the Jets which is hard to put my finger on at this moment, but I feel mostly comes down to the sensation of breaking down the barrier between those onstage and those off it. There is a powerful unity to the sound of everyone in the room singing the same song that is quite unlike anything i can think of…

There are also Thank Yous from each of us to be said – to our endlessly loyal friends and family, past and present bandmates/crew without whom that show simply wouldnt have lifted from the ground, to Peace, Theme Park and SlowClub for all playing amazing shows and finally thanks to you for buying the record, the ticket and for having faith.

See you all over the summer at the festivals and on tour…
